On December 8, the commencement ceremony of phase II of HGTECH intelligent manufacturing industrial park was held in Wuhan Optical Valley future city. Song Zhiping, deputy director of Management Committee of Donghu high tech Zone, Chen Huafen, deputy director of Construction Management Office of Wuhan future city, Ma Xinqiang, Secretary of the Party committee, chairman and President of HGTECH, and Xiong Wen, vice president, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Ma Xinqiang, chairman of the board of directors, said that with the accelerating pace of intelligent and digital transformation of China's manufacturing industry, HGTECH's laser intelligent equipment business also ushered in an important period of development opportunities. Starting the construction of phase II of the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, the company will focus on the industrialization of the former precision laser micro nano processing technology, give full play to the base's innovative resources gathering, technology and knowledge spillover, and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, realize the end-to-end digital integration of R&D, manufacturing and service, create a new "intelligent" manufacturing system, and strengthen the downstream new display surface With the support of strategic industries such as PCB, new energy power battery, printed circuit board, semiconductor, etc., we will create a first-class domestic and globally influential "laser + Intelligent Manufacturing" industrial base.

Laser micro nano machining has the characteristics of large size, high precision and high efficiency, which makes it promising in new display panel, 3C electronics, 5g communication, new energy vehicles and other fields, and will become an important direction of laser processing development in the future. In the third quarter of 2003, the global display panel market grew by 21% compared with the previous quarter. The demand for full screen, 8K high resolution screen, arc screen and folding screen is increasing day by day. Precision micro nano machining will expand a broader market space on the basis of realizing OLED flexible screen cutting. In the automotive industry, precision micro nano machining can not only cut into the application scenario of 5g Internet of vehicles, but also play a role in the process of electrode lug cutting and isolation membrane cutting of new energy vehicles, so as to improve the energy density and processing accuracy of batteries. In the communication industry, in order to meet the needs of 5g communication, the application of high-frequency and low-loss materials in the signal transmission layer has accelerated the penetration of micro nano laser applications. The high integration and thinness of mobile phone terminals have become a trend. New materials and high-precision requirements will highlight the advantages of precision micro nano processing. Therefore, the establishment of a first-class domestic and world influential base for the industrialization of precision laser intelligent manufacturing technology and equipment will strengthen the technical support for the downstream strategic industries and effectively promote the development of new domestic industries.

The phase I of HGTECH intelligent manufacturing industrial park has been put into use in November 2019. After the completion of phase II, it will further accelerate the domestic high-end laser precision processing technology to be in line with the international standards, build a new intelligent manufacturing system, and promote the construction of a trillion level industrial cluster of "optical core screen end network" in Wuhan.
