On August 1st, HGTECH and Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wuchang Shipbuilding") signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will conduct in-depth cooperation in the fields of laser technology and international trade, such as "intelligent production lines" and "smart factories", and form a win-win and sustainable strategic cooperative partnership.

    Yang Zhigang, chairman of the Wuchang Shipbuilding, said on the scene of signing the agreement that the experience accumulated in the previous cooperation between the two sides has laid a good foundation for further enhancing the competitiveness of China's shipbuilding industry. At present, Wuchang Shipbuilding actively responds to support the transformation and upgrading of China's shipbuilding industry, to meet the need of high-quality development, and to achieve the strategic objectives of mode conversion, structural adjustment, and benefit increase through manufacturing automation, informatization and intelligentization. This strategic cooperation with HGTECH is in line with the current trend, which is conducive to playing a synergistic role and promoting the deep integration of laser processing technology solutions with China's shipbuilding industry.

As early as 2008, the warship manufacturing of Wuchang Shipbuilding used a number of HGLASER plasma cutting machines produced by HGLASER, the subsidiary of HGTECH.
