Recently, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China published the fourth list of National Industrial Design Center, and HGTECH wins the honor! This is another high-level recognition of our innovation platform after technological center and engineering research center co-constructed with HUST are nationally recognized. Besides, the Industrial Design Center of HGTECH is also the first nationally-recognized IDC in laser industry.

    The HGTECH IDC (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Center’), holding the vision of ‘Design Competitive Products to Boost Higher Glory in Manufacturing’, are responsible for the design of industrialization and pre-research projects in core businesses, including the design of VIS system, appearance, experiencing system of man-machine interaction, packaging, devices, functions. During the development and management of design, the Center effectively promotes the international competitiveness by paying much attention to ‘Standard Management, Quality Innovation’ policy and wins over other competitors with excellent design and performance in global tenders organized by world-famous companies.

    In the future, the Center will be actively involved in China’s Strong Manufacturer Strategy, continue moving towards professionalization and intensification, highlight the orientation of green design, strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights, play our role in increasing added values of brands, improving brand image, enhancing competitiveness of products with industrial design. The center will also highlight the value of industrial development, activate the energy within the industry and boost industrial upgrading with design, create a benchmark in laser industry, promote the development mode of ‘Design + Brand’ and ‘Design + Industrial Chain’, perfect the internationally-competitive design innovation system of ‘Design + R&D + Customer Experience’, fully display Wuhan’s capability in industrial design in photoelectronic industry and equipment manufacturing field. Meanwhile, the Center will keep up with the advanced companies/centers as and take part in the National Industrial Design Award and IF award autonomously or collaboratively to promote the results of industrial design in Chinese laser industry.
